The Patience Tai Chi Association is Brooklyn's oldest contnously operating tai chi school and one of New York's most venerable.
Founded in 1970 by Sifu William C. Phillips, Patience has flourished over the years, teaching hundreds of students the ancient art of Tai Chi Chuan. Classes are offered in Tai Chi Form, Push Hands, Da Lu, Sword Form and Applications. PTC has also been host to some of the greatest masters of the art over the years.
Beginning students learn from accomplished instructors. The pace of instruction is often tailored to fit the individual. All instruction takes place in clean, modern, air-conditioned facilities. All of PTC senior instructors are available for such instruction by appointment.
